5 in 1 temperature issues

Off late my 5 in 1 sensor is giving occasional low temperature spikes (-17.8C), does that mean my temperature sensor is dying?

Do you ever see those low temperatures on your display, or is it only on the myAcurite graphs?

I see it on Weather Underground, but myAcurite Dashboard doesn't show these spikes. These were just random spikes I could not notice it on the display, I did transfer the data from the display to computer using PC Connect, there too I don't see this spike. It's seen only on WU.

I think it is your PC connect display. Try a reset of the display.

@DoctorKnow, I use a SmartHub to report data to Weather Underground, do you suspect a SmartHub issue? I will reset the SmartHub and check.

No, I doubt a smarthub could do that error. You will need to open up the 5n1 and check it.

I just noticed that these -17.8C events occur during a router reset or smarthub reset or during power failure, when both the router and smarthub gets reset. It doesn't happen every time when a router/smarthub resets, seems like a random event triggered by as yet unidentified cause.
