Type of Weather Station
« on: June 20, 2010, 04:21:24 PM »
What kind of Weather Station should I buy? I had a La Crosse Weather Station but it broke on me and I'm looking to replace it. I'm wanting the wind chill and etc with a Internet connection please. Any ideas?

Here is a good starter's setup.  I assume that since you posted here, you have internet access already.  Most people have a computer running 24/7 for WU/CWOP/PWS/etc.

WS-2308:  $123
radiation shield:  $35
WUHU Software:  $0

Total cost:  $158

If I might be so bold, any specific reason why you wish to buy at a store?  I bet Ambient can get you a better choice than nearly any store can.
