Ok, now that you're done scoffing at "cr-3000 and frugal," my university has a couple CR3000s that have been offline for a couple years. I am working to repair our stations at make them useful/sustainable/easily maintained in the future.
If spending big bucks were on the plate, I would obviously just order from campbell.
Any suggestions or ideas on how to get my off-site stations transmitting and accessible to campus (5-10 miles) would be appreciated.
I'm even open to "it would be cheaper to pull the loggers out and replace them with "something else that works with my sensors and will accomplish the transmission goal"
