How do I remove all previously stored data?
« on: February 09, 2017, 11:14:40 PM »
As the title says, moved to a new location, in light of the recent issues with rain being incorect, thinking about deleting the last few years of data for a clean start. I have a pro2.

Thanks, Paul.

Hey Paul.  Want to give a little more info on what you're wanting to do?  Are we talking website?...desktop?....console?....???

I don't know about deleting all the old data.  If you're talking about a website or weather console on your computer what about creating a new folder/directory and just making a new installation?

Like I said, more info might get people to offer some ideas. :)

Best wishes,
Ed

Sorry, that was a very poorly worded question.

Between your answers and some looking around I think I've worked it out!

Thanks :-)

So how did you clear all the data? I'm about to move my station a few miles west...

Read the manual!

Clear All Command (for console)
After you have completed the above setup procedures and have exited the Setup
Mode, please use the Clear All command before putting your weather station into
service.
The Clear All command clears all stored high and low weather data including
monthly and yearly highs and lows and clears the alarm settings. The command is
recommended to properly clear the console of any erroneous data before first
putting the station into use.
1. Make sure wind speed is showing in the wind compass. If wind direction is
showing, press WIND on the console until wind speed appears.
2. Press 2ND, then press and hold CLEAR for at least six seconds.
3. Release CLEAR when you see “CLEARING NOW” displayed at the bottom
of the console’s screen.
