I have a lot of fun with the camera. Watching the weather is more interesting than looking at numbers for an enthusiast.

  I completely agree. And a camera can provide data that no home weather station can provide. Such as cloud formations, precipitation types, etc. I was originally going to go with an IP based camera and then figure out how to incorporate it into my station. But the Bloomsky seems like a much easier option and the added weather data is a plus.

yep, I just captured this pix of the weather above my house and I'm 25 miles away right now in work, I could see any approaching weather changes.
