The Vantage Vue I'm running is usb on a mac. If I had another station with an IP Link could I use that one to set up Weather Link?

If you mean WeatherLink.com - yes.  If you mean something else, please elaborate.

Yes WeatherLink

Sigh!  Do you mean this?

http://www.weatherlink.com/

Or WeatherLink software to run on a Windows PC?
Or WeatherLink software to run on a Mac?
Or something else?

Yes you could, WeatherLink.com and/or WeatherLink on PC or Mac

Quite true - but understanding the differences would be useful in setup.  For instance:

Quote
All the web site features of WeatherLinkIP only require a Web browser to access your online account, so these features can be accessed from a Mac. However, the WeatherLink for Mac Software does not support the WeatherLinkIP. This means you cannot use the WeatherLink for Mac Software to access a WeatherLinkIP directly from the Mac or download archive data to your computer.

What's why I was trying to understand what you want to do (I'm sure you understand, but I don't).

For instance, would you intend to change how your Weather Underground data is supplied?

No, I was going to send to WU by USB/WeatherCat and then I thought about console with an IPLink but as you so rightly pointed out you can't do that with a Mac unless you buy the WeatherLink service from Davis. So I wanted to send to WU and use the IP to send to WeatherLink because I have some friends who use that service. But it really isn't worth the cost. They can use WU apps on their mobile devices.

Assuming that by "IPLink" you mean WeatherLinkIP ----- then what you said there is incorrect.

Of course, maybe that isn't what you meant.  Or whatever.  PerhapsMaybe.

Yes weatherlinkip. but on a mac that part doesn't work unless you buy a subscription service from Davis and I'm not going to do that.

I'll repeat myself.

That statement is incorrect

i.e., wrong, inaccurate, etc.

If you are so smart please fix it!

The WeatherLinkIP logger includes a "lifetime" subscription to WeatherLink.com.  No computer is needed to upload data to WeatherLink.com (and Weather Underground, etc.)

That attitude is likely to put many who would have helped off.  Myself included.
