« on: October 13, 2007, 02:37:30 PM »
Hi, I am Erick Schrier and I am looking for help. I own  the site www.midwest-skywarn.com and my webmaster and I are looking for anyone that has had experience with PHP. He is running out of time on the updates and we just need an assistant to help with some things. You would be accepted into the storm team and would meet some great people. If you are interested email me at midwest-skywarn@hotmail.com

Hey CapeWeather,

I am the webmaster Midwest-Skywarn is referring to.  I am trying to build a forecasted spotter activation area for our CMS (Content Management System) that allows him to control all the maps and status messages from within the Admin control panel of the CMS.  This may seem easy but o my goss is it killing my head.  So i am trying to find people that are knowledged in PHP / MySQL that could help me put this together.  I'd then sponsor it under my sites name and release it under GNU GPL where that anyone could use it.  Those that help develop it may have to help port it to PHP-Nuke since we use CPG-DragonFly Nuke.  I do recommend that maybe you want to look into CPG as we once used PHP-Nuke but had a lot of problems with it.

Thanks for all the interest,
MW-S_Oracle

Darn,
No chance of covering MI also. It would be great if someone could do this for MI. It always seems that MI gets bypassed for all the neat stuff out there for warnings,watches..etc.

I don't know much about PHP, but you might want to ask Tyler at AllisonHouse. He developed his rather popular Spotter Network with PHP (I think) and he might be able to help you out. Also, he could help you interface your network through his SN website.

Anyway, try posting in his forum at http://nexrad.allisonhouse.com/forum/.
