honeywell ts34c sensor question.
« on: April 15, 2009, 10:20:53 AM »
hi people.

i have a honeywell te923w station which includes the ts34c temp sensor. it has a LCD display of the temp and humidity, but it has it as Fahrenheit, does anyone know if there is a way to change it to celsius as im in australia and that is the unit we use over here. i've looked high and low on the net and through the user manuals but can't seem to find anything?

any help is greatly appreciated  :grin:

Hi Australia =D>
   Have you tried to remove the back cover where the batteries are?  Hope you find it.  It is confusing.  A website I looked at said it can be changed by user between C & F.  But as you said the manual does not indicate a switch there.   ](*,)
Good luck,
Mark

Rhys.,

Have you tried;
1. On the main unit/console, Press UP or DOWN until the IN icon on the upper right flashes. This should take you to the Temp and Humidity mode.
2. Press and hold SET to toggle the temperature between C and F.

Try:

Set the Temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
In Temperature and Humidity Mode, press and hold SET to toggle the temperature in
Celsius (ºC) or Fahrenheit (ºF).

From page 33 of manual located here: http://www.speedtech.com/manuals/TE923W-eng.pdf
