Anemometer Finally gave up
« on: October 29, 2012, 10:11:34 PM »
After doing a lot of web work I just realized my wind direction was always south. Took a look at the anemometer and saw the vane tail broken off (1080 clone). I knew it had cracked last year but didn't realize how bad. Almost 4 years up there through all seasons and something finally gave out. Ordered a replacement from Ambient for $27 shipped.

Not bad for an inexpensive unit!

Not bad at all.  Possibly birds being the culprit causing the original crack.?.?

yeah I can spell it but the keys here on keyboard sometime does not send the character to the cpu process.

But glad to see that you are still like my ex son in law. Just typing something so you can be the center of attention.  That pattern has shown up ever since you first appeared on this board.  It seem that you  have nothing to really contribute to most  threads but have to let everyone know that you are around. It really getting to the point when I see your siignature to an thread we just bypass it as it generally is something not important. even afte yo been admonlish over and over and over you continue to do the same stuff.

enough said .... sorry to take thread over temporary.

I have learned from my mistakes and I don't do those types of things anymore!

It's fine John, you are teaching me a vital lesson! :D
