Weatherlink 2.0 Bulletin Screen
« on: November 20, 2018, 09:16:19 PM »
I notice the other night when my temperature fell below zero (-0.1) the bulletin screen and the URL download  the low temperature went to 6,553.5.  I notice the same thing was happening on other stations. Attached is a copy of another station this evening that has below zero readings since it’s 20 above here tonight. Anyone report this to Davis already or did it just start? The Data and Chart screens are Ok.   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

the low temperature went to 6,553.0.

The number 65535 can be represented in 16-bit binary as 1111111111111111.

I'm guessing that's the technical reason behind the software problem.

Binary of 6,552.0 is 1100110011000 but that doesn't indicate a binary limitation either? Hex equiv is 1998 but nothing in that either. If it went to 6553.0 then that would be hex 1999 which is a possible limit?

I called Davis support this morning and was told they are aware of it but could not give me a time when it will be fixed.  Wait and see I guess.
