How long before TWC abandons weather altogether ...
« on: April 09, 2010, 03:30:04 PM »
... as far as forecasting and breaking/severe weather in favor of scriptumentaries?  At first they were only running them on certain weekday afternoons.  Now it's every day and again in primetime weeknights.

Ok seriously, I gave up watching TWC, once I got my website up and started to daily check the NWS.

By 2015 the Weather Channel won't be anything like it is now, if it's even still around. It's sickening what they have allowed happen. I just hope someone else comes along and creates a rival weather network.

There was going to be competition about 2 years ago. I can't remember the name but obviously it fell through. :-(

I doubt it will last much longer.  There's only a few weather segments now during the day and they are covering more news and sports and feature segments.

"Groundhog Day" last night.  No connection to weather at all.

I'd like to see Dish or some other big provider drop them and see if they wake up.

Let See, they got rid of Dave Schwartz ( I believe). Made Marshall Sease retire. I'm sure the catalog is full, but I cant remember all the ones that have gone since the NBC (Nothin but crap) takeover.
