Northeastern Storm Conference

Just want to inform anyone out there that the 37th Annual Northeastern Storm Conference is being held in Rutland, Vermont this year. March 2-4, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Rutland. The keynote speaker is Dr. Greg Forbes (Severe Weather Expert) from the Weather Channel. Aside from the keynote speaker there will be many many presentation on all aspects of weather. This isn't just for the weather folk this is a conference for everyone. The Northeastern Storm Conference is the largest student-run conference in the United States and usually draws hundreds. For more information about the conference or to register please visit apollo.lsc.vsc.edu/ams The Deadline to Register is Feb 10, 2012!!!

That would be something I'd like to attend if I was in the area. There are many N/eastern and eastern Canadian members on here that might have a chance though. Sounds interesting and worth visiting.

Yeah it is a great weekend. Its put on by Lyndon State College's American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association Local Chapter which I am a member of. Thank you for the welcoming!

that's awesome! It will be an amazing conference for sure especially with Dr. Greg Forbes being there. Also some amazing talks throughout the entire weekend.... I will be there around. If anyone is reading this I will see you there.

UPDATE!

Registration for the 37th Annual Northeastern Storm Conference continues however registration will be subjected to a $10 LATE FEE..... PLEASE REGISTER THOUGH! The link is above!
