The surrounding star patterns confirm this is Comet ISON.
I am afraid this is as good as I will be able to get it.
The equatorial wedge mount I have is 30 years old and this is the best I can hobble it.

Thanks for sharing. Excellent work as always. I have wanted an 8" meade schmidt cassegrain for years but could never seem to gather up the money required.  ](*,)
