I have been getting these for a few weeks.  I love them except for the volume of alerts.  They can pile up in your email box quickly.  In a thread about these on the "Other Weather Topics" someone emailed the NWS to see if they could cut down on the repetitive alerts.

You can't specify the levels? I subscribed to a service like that through a NWS region in California I think, and was able to limit notifications to Warnings only...

I am sorry because I said that in a confusing way   #-o.  When you sign up for the alerts you register an account with the NWS.  You can then sign in to your account and subscribe or unsubscribe to specific products/alerts by checking or unchecking a box.  That is what I meant by specifying levels.  Hope that clears things up.
