Downlinerz2, yeah, that's kind of why I posted it. I've been busy lately and usually only skim this board. But I remember reading a little on that thread, not all that long ago. So that's why I had to post it. I thought if it is the same, odd it's happened twice in one year.
Oklahoma and ND are both in tornado alley region. So I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
Our local CBS had a "weather extra" on it last night on TV. They had a good explanation. The video isn't online yet. But when it does show up, I'll try to post a link. But they interviewed our Bismarck NWS office. The guy there said it was really rare. He saw one when he worked in Boise ID, but that was it.
