DarkSky update to Saratoga Template *Solved*
« on: December 15, 2018, 03:34:56 PM »
Hi,

Today I updated my Saratoga template to include the DarkSky forecast, my problem is that when I make the change in settings.php my main page only partially loads, reverting back to the old settings.php file restores the page, I've used the compare function in Notepad++ and with the new and old and I think I've made the appropriate chnages, but obviously I havent :-)

I've attached the old and new scripts for info, any ideas where I have gone wrong please.

Odd... it looks like you've made the changes correctly in Settings.php.  Your DS-forecast.php script may need to be re-uploaded.  You don't need to make changes from the distributed version if the Settings.php has the DS entries in it.

I suspect the problem is in DS-forecast.php on your site.  It doesn't respond to https://www.chatteris.biz/DS-forecast.php?sce=view at all (and should).  Also, running DS-forecast.php itself simply results in a blank page (incorrect) and should at least gripe that the DSAPIkey was not set.

Try uploading the script again to your site from the distribution.
