Ice Pillar

If you look close just to left of sun there is an faint ice pillar cause by diamond dust.As the sun arose due east on it way north to the NNE quadrant of the sky.  Looking  toward 40 mile country from here. Temperature was  minus 20 F

Wife and a friend of hers saw  one with the sundogs couple weeks ago coming back from Fairbanks.  Neither one of them had an camera to take picture which is too bad as those are rare to see.
