Frozen in Wisconsin
« on: January 19, 2008, 09:46:46 AM »
We had a low of -14F (Wind chill -25F) last night. That would be like.......-25C  I think. And they are talking that it will get colder tonight -17F I am going to put a log on the fire and just stay home.

I"m not to far behind you here. I am currently @ -13.3 F and -25 wind chill. It is still cooling off here. The sun is almost up here @ 7:51 am. My forecast looks a cold one for the next few days.

The Green Bay game tomorrow night will be something to watch for sure.  I can't imagine getting tackled on turf that is below zero.  Got to be like getting tackled on concrete.  Going to be a lot of black and blue bodies on Monday for sure.  Only got to -4 last night and NWS is calling for only -1 tonight but they are nuts.  I'm going down over 2 degrees per hour and the sun isn't even down yet.  Going to be a 4 dog fire tonight.

Low tonight is going to be -19F So the NWS says. (brrrrrrrr)

As for the packer game I will be at work for it . So I will just have to wait till the game is done. (I can take or leave football)

I really don't care for the Packers myself.  But I think I'm going to watch more for the weather aspect than anything else.  This game has got to be close to the record for the coldest outdoor game ever played.  Below zero, at night with some lake effect and blowing snow mixed in for good record should be interesting.
