what is causing this?
« on: November 19, 2007, 10:07:00 AM »
I have a Lacross 2310 that I upload to CWOP but as late my data has been way off. My graphs are not even close. We moved from PA. to northern MN. and it has been up and running for about 2 months now. It was fine. My graphs get a sawtooth look, not the nice clean line. I have checked the station and all seems to be fine. Help!

It seems that you may have some sort of connection problem from your weather station, based on your QC charts at http://pond1.gladstonefamily.net:8080/cgi-bin/wxqchart.pl?site=C7708. Are you using a serial to usb cable? And, what setting are you using in WUHU - direct serial or 1 minute updates from HeavyWeather?

sometimes it happens that someone else uses your CWOP number
especialy if the software defaults to CW0000
(which is my CWOP number, and so I suffer from the problem of someone sending data over the top of mine (they are using open2300))
