Title: Upload data to Wunderground AND Weathercloud
Post by: pacobnk on January 14, 2018, 11:37:15 AM
Hi, I analyze the characteristics of the Ambient Weather WS-1001. I have verified that it can upload data to Weather Underground or WeatherCloud, among others. However, it is possible upload data to both with only 1 console?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

You can submit either to the Weather Underground or to WeatherCloud.

If you want to send to many weather portals then you must use your MAC address. Then you do not enter anything in your console. Enter the MAC address on the weather portal in the appropriate boxes behind the cities. ;)

An example of such a portal is https://ambientweather.net/

PS: There is another method of sending packets to different weather portals at the same time. It is described in this forum. You need to use a suitable soft pad.

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I am analyzing this weather station for a near future purchase. I will watch what you tell me about the MAC address.

Thanks a lot!
Francisco.

A meteobridge will do what you want. It can send to many different services. Instead of the wireless 1001 model though you will need the wired one with the observerIP, but the console is still wireless.
