US stations getting a workout this morning

Yeah the east coast is going great guns, and even some of the stations out west are getting in on the action.  One thing I'm noticing is that the lines used to indicate that a particular station participated on a stroke are now showing as more of a great-circle path as opposed to the straight lines I remember from last year; I guess it's just one of the tweaks and improvements that Egon et al have been making to the system.

At one point this morning the Lightning site had all stations showing as a purple dot after strikes.  Way more than the 12 or even 16 that we've seen in the past.  Maybe that will go back to normal as testing continues.

I can only imagine the development team is doing backflips with such a nice storm to test the system with.  At least most of the action is off the coast over some water.
