Topic: Incompat lgr message

Good afternoon.  People on these boards have saved my bacon more than once.  Had an old VP that has been giving me fits for three months.  I finally broke down and bought a VP2.  Everything went well until I hooked up my existing WeatherLink Data logger, and now I get said message.  I have tried to unplug power down, wait ten seconds replug the logger and put the batteries back in and still get the same message.  I should also mention it is a serial logger and 6.0.2 WeatherLink, and I can't find the install CD for the past 4 or 5 years.

Not positive, but that old logger won't work with a VP2, you'll need a newer one. As far as WL, this is the full build of 6.0.3, no install CD required.

Thanks for that link.  I will get on the data logger search now.. I was afraid that might be the case.

IIRC Davis used to have some sort of trade-in program for incompatible loggers.  Worth a try.
