Backyard Weather Stations and Sending Data
« on: February 24, 2017, 10:55:51 AM »
When will the Backyard Weather Stations data be displayed again?  It's been MONTHS since this has been available.  Why should we keep sending you our data if it's not being used?

I gave up waiting and shutdown my feed to them last year.

All of WeatherBug's PWS-related pages return error messages. I guess it's a hint that they don't care for our data anymore.

Hi Kevin, we're still doing PWS, but we sold the WeatherBug brand to another company (xAd), so PWS is being merged into the old parent company (Earth Networks). Visit http://pws.ensb.us to view PWS data, and there's a link there to my email where we can chat about what's up with PWS.

Thanks!

We're still the data backbone provider to the new WeatherBug, so we're working with them to restore PWS data into their site.

The WeatherBug Community is gone (xAd shut it down). I'm building a replacement community at http://weatherquack.com. Launched it yesterday. Still some kinks and features I need to roll out, but it's off to a decent start.
