I have a .wav set to go off for winds >40mph.  No update interval.  When 40mph is reached, the alarm doesn't sound.  If I click the Alarm icon, then it sounds.  According to the manual, the alarm should sound only once when the condition is met.

If I select an update interval, then the alarm sounds only when that time has been reached and the condition has been met.  According to the manual, the alarm should sound immediately when the condition is met and sound every x min provided the condition still exists.

It is the same way in version 13.01.  I would like for the alarms to have a snooze or reset feature on them.

But I choose not to upgrade to V14 until Ed brings back the "Hourly Rain" as a measurement of how much rain you have received in the last 60 minutes, rather than a measure of the rate that the rain is falling for an hour.

Lee,

What is the purpose of this thread?

The software author isn't here and won't be. If you have an issue with the author, please take it up with him. Posting such things here will get you no where with the issue at hand.

Posting bug reports is one thing. Bitching about the software author, who isn't here to defend themself, is quite another story.

Glad to hear it. That is exactly what we do not want to happen. Thanks.

With storm season here, it would be nice to have alarms working as advertised. But the only way to get a fix is if more request it.
If you're one of those who want properly functioning alarms, just copy my orig bug report to report it.
