Davis wind problem
« on: January 02, 2018, 11:35:54 AM »
Hi

I own a davis wind sensor (6410). But I think that the wind vane doesn't spin so smooth as it should. Is it normal? What do you think?

best regards

Looks fairly normal to me.
It needs 2.5m/sec minimum to register a wind direction change. Unless your finding it staying in one position even if with the wind direction changing you may have a bad pot which the wind direction is measured by.
