Here is another as the storm developed



As the sun sets the bottom of the clouds receive sunlight that is going through much more of the atmosphere then the top. When the clouds are as gigantic as they are for our monsoons the colors on top are brilliant white and bottoms are sunset red or orange. The closer the cloud is to you the taller the cloud seems but the color portrays the real height.
