The following is an announcement from the 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB:

Team V is scheduled to support launch of the Spaceflight SSO-A: SmallSat Express on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex-4E on Sunday, Dec. 2, with a launch window of 10:32 a.m. PST to 11:01 a.m. PST.

The public can view this launch from the Hawk's Nest on Azalea Lane off of Hwy 1 just a half mile south of Vandenberg Air Force Base's main gate.

The Hawk's Nest gates will open on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. PST and close at 10:15 a.m. PST. As a reminder the public is asked not to bring or consume alcohol, smoke, nor have any open fires or barbecues. Weapons are not allowed, additionally, the use of small unmanned aerial systems within five miles of any active runway, such as Vandenberg’s, is prohibited.

Is this launch also the last AT&T directv satellite?  New owners of Directv said last bird ever was going up soon and they would be phasing satellite service out and going with streaming box they recently launched, requires high speed internet. Maybe what helps keep Dish going for rural America that can't stream TV.

No. It was a ride share of 64 CubeSats on Spaceflight SSO-A: SmallSat Express. Vandenberg genarally launches polar orbit satellites, Geostationary and other equatorial orbits leave from Florida.
