Not sure about alternatives.  Dont need 24/7 weather station to have this script on your site.

This script is pretty plug and play.  Mild php (basically edit in notepad) knowledge.  and a server that does PHP

Thanks, I actually meant running my pc 24.7

So I save the script in notepad and then upload it to a host.

Is that right?

Yes, that is what I meant too.

So I save the script in notepad and then upload it to a host.
Is that right?

Pretty much. There are a bunch of variables in the main PHP file, and a readme file.  Basically you add your wu id to one of the fields, timezone, change the name of the page (defaults to Juneau County Weather, the author's locale), variable other helper variables, but do not necessarily need to be changed (metric vs imperial, show uv, etc.)  Pretty simple stuff once you open in notepad.

Then upload the saved PHP and all files as directed.  Of course as I said, the server/host you upload to must be PHP enabled.

I have that page on my site also and have a question. There is a variable to allow the script to access more than one station.
it is an array type entry and I entered my old site therre and ended up with a PHP error. I was questioning whether I could delete the array part of the statement and just have it equal my old station ID KVAMARIO3 and it not return an error?

I was making these changes late last night about misnight to be exact so i didn't dabble in too many mods that would screw up the whole site at that hour :-P
Just wondering if anybody had tried that and what code they ended up using??

Thanks!

It's meant to be included in another page and there should be a test file there to show you how.

M,

This was one of the easiest scripts to setup. Ask these guys, if I can do it ANYBODY should be able to do it  \:D/

Configuring it was also very easy. Just follow the directions in the read-me and you'll be fine.

You can see mine here: www.kingsparkweather.com/wxwuhistory.php

I JUST finished it this am. Took me about 20 minutes to do.

Try using the wxwuhistory.php page instead. See what that gives you.

Quote
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en-US">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="www.maidenerleghweather.com/WU-HistoryTan.css" />
<title>Test XHTML 1.0 Strict Page for WU-History Testing</title>
</head>
<body>
<?php
include("www.maidenerleghweather.com/WU-History.php");
