They showed that video on the local news here yesterday. Good catch by the photographer.

   I just saw a show a couple weeks ago about lightning and talked about planes getting hit.  They showed 4 or 5 videos of jet liners getting hit.  None of the passengers on those planes even knew they were hit. :shock:  And then they said that every plane is hit on average once a year! :shock: :shock:

They may have reinstated the video. I watched in just now and it's amazing that mo electronic failures were had not to mention human injuries.  The talking head guy there mentioned that after 1967 there has been rigorous lightning testing done to aircraft, that must have been along the time that the Apollo mission was struck by lightning.. Seems I remember something like that happening.
