Mark III 418 MHz up & running
« on: April 27, 2015, 04:54:49 PM »
My Mark III 418MHz system is running now with one of the Oracle devices that I received along with the purchase. I had mentioned previously that it didn't appear to be transmitting according to the Oracle diagnostics so the transmitter board was replaced in the ISS. All seems well now. I still have the IP-100 to do and that will likely wait a few days. My router and switch aren't very close and I'll need to do another Ethernet outlet for it and a couple other devices. I've a commercial 120V 24 port switch I've used for years and have most everything that can be hard-wired connected with Ethernet. I use MoCA for my TiVos and am considering doing some MoCA switches maybe in a couple locations and do away with the large switch.

I had posted earlier regarding this unit. It's an 11 year old system that was New In The Box assembled in '04. I'm quite pleased now that it runs and  seems to be doing well.
