Has anyone remotely mounted the anemometer on the Mk III?
« on: September 13, 2014, 04:25:49 PM »
Rainwise offers a flagpole mount for their stations.  One of the advantages I see is that it separates the anemometer from the rest of the sensor array.  I would like to do this with the flagpole I already own, which looks similar or identical to the one sold by RW.  Has anyone separated a RW anemometer from the sensor array and made it work?  What parts might I need from RW besides a longer cable?

EDIT:  It looks like they only sell the flagpole for the wind logger package.  What parts of the wind logger make it possible to separate the anemometer by a length of wire?
