I've got a basic WS-2902 station posting to Wunderground - works like a charm.
I've also got a water temperature sensor in my lake. I'd like to share the lake water temperature with others by posting on WU. It was suggested to me to use the "Soil Temp" or "Leaf Wetness" fields for this - seemed like a great idea.
I set up to have one of these fields updated each time the lake water temperature changes using the PWS
upload protocol. That works great!
BUT, a few seconds later, seemingly on the next rapid-fire update from the WS-2902, whatever I just put up there is erased. (Presumably, because the update from the weather station either omits these fields or assigns blank values.)
Any idea on how to make my updates persistent or prevent the overwrites?
