Great many thanks have ordered them, should get them tomorrow.
I am hoping it may solve my outdoor temp gauge giving strange reading when its damp.
Good there good, however it will not resolve the strange readings that's a fundamental design flaw . I dealt with that issue back in 2015 . Basically the condensation, dew, fog, rain all finds its way into the sensor compartment . This causes those strange erratic readings. I keep, saying to my self next time I go up,and clean mine which I do every three months weather permitting is to take some photos of how I fixed that issue . Basically clear silicon grease at the top of radiation shield where it meets the unit , the actual sensor circuit board is the culprit so I applied non conductive silicon grease all over the circuit board and appplied a thin layer of amalgating tape wrapped around the board and where thermistor sits on the circuit board i insulated the two small contact legs.
Basically what is happening when the dew or whatever builds up on the circuit board you end up with an open circuit , dew , water, condensation, fog can act as a conductor , I learnt this many years ago when building amateur radio antennas when fog was present and heavy rain the antennas would start becoming unresonant . Since doing that to the ws1001 in 2015 I don't get erratic readings during any of those weather conditions and I live 150 meters from the sea so I'm prone to regular fog and damp moist conditions. Confused ? Perhaps when I take the photographs it will be clearer to understand all you need is a steady hand ...it's not that difficult .
