Too many files...
« on: July 26, 2008, 07:38:38 AM »
Hello,

I am a new WD user and attempting to find out how and where to turn off file creation.

The files below I want and am getting:

clientraw.txtyyyymmdd.gif (done daily)
yyyyMonth.htm (done daily)
curr24hourgraph.gif
curr72hourgraph.gif
monthtodate.gif
windrose.gif
moonicon.gif
moondetail1.gif
moondetail2.gif

I have a picture of the unwanted files on Weather-Watch Forum (can't seem to add a picture here) Anyway dozens of text files, gifs and htm that are not needed.

thanks!

Posting an image here is simple. Place the image you wish to display you or web site and then use this to get the image to show up. The like to the image would go between the image tags.

Thanks,
Anthony

I've discovered that turning off files in WD may have other (undesired) side-effects.  I'd advise that unless you're really strapped for FTP upload bandwidth or webserver disk quota, that you not prune the filelist of uploads unless you really need to!

Best regards,
