Expired Certificate Problems
« on: March 17, 2019, 02:57:41 AM »
I have a problem with my visible satellite display. I get an error from my attempts that the site certificate on their end has expired on March 15 . I can load the image perfectly on my browser ( Thunderbird on Linux) but the script won't make an exception and let the call continue on through.
Is there any way that I can force the script to let the image download to continue so it can be viewed on the web page or is it best that I just wait until they notice the problem and renew the certificate on their end?  Here is a reference https://www.smythweather.net/westatlanticsat.php
I have tried changing the URL back to HTTP from HTTPS but that gives the same results.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Wayne
