« on: January 24, 2009, 10:27:17 AM »
I hope I can get some help developing a php script to parse an RR3 product..Right now a simple file open doesnt work and I have tried other methods...

Also does anyone have a php script to display fire weather information for a certain location?

Thanks in advance for the support....

What are you looking for? Locally calculated indicies, or info gathered from other sites?

What's your PHP skill level?

I have published a Chandler Burn Index that uses data from your weather station and produces an image like this:

It's available from the Southwestern Weather Network scripts page at http://www.southwesternweather.net/firedanger.php.

Oh, and what's an "RR3 product"? Do you have a link to one? Can't parse what we can't see. ;)

My PHP level is novice, and I apologize for this...What I would like to do is take the RR3 data and parse the High and Low Temp and Precip from this..These are cooperative observers....

The Fire weather data is what I would like to develop for an interactive page..Once again my levels are novice...I appreciate your help very much...Thanks.

I got it fixed now.  However I did notice that the color for the "Low" risk level seems to be nonstandard according to physical signage I have found online.

So I changed mine in photoshop.

Examples I found.

and a pic from a local fire department in my area
