[ You are not allowed to view attachments ] Hi guys , i got this Davis6152 cabled since 2008
Anemometer shows corect wind speed , but for a week now direction is pointing north and nort-east....
Strangest thing , i see on console , as i get 1 impuls on every 2.5 seconds from anemometer ...
...it goes 10 times north , 1 time NE , 10 times North , 1 time NE , and so on.....
Could this be a cable problem ....its 40 meters long (original cable , 30meters + 10 meters , very well isolated , its going trough a plastic tube that protects it) , but the wind speed is correct so ....
any help much apreciated

If it's the original then it's 9 years old. Time for pensioning off!

i give it a try to an electronic repair center....
yes , its 8 years old....2 times opened and repaired for not showing the speed
i guess its time for a new one (its been 8 years near the Black Sea in windy conditions)

...and its fixed , opened , cleaned , isolated with silicone , up and running...
The 40 meters cable come trough a plastic tube , i found the yellow wire broken and the tube cutoff at some point.
so the reason for 10 impulses north and one NE was the cable...
now i wonder if it will go trough the [ You are not allowed to view attachments ] windy winter...
