Startwatch
« on: October 09, 2012, 12:22:18 PM »
Didn't know exactly where to put this but it also deals with Weatherlink so decided here.  After getting everything back up and running well from the lightning problem last month, I reloaded Startwatch to help deal with Wundergroung connections which has helped a bunch, but I seem to be getting an error box once in a while that locks up the process.  It is a box that pops up and says "Error, unable to create backup logfile"  When I click OK everything goes back to normal.  This seems to happen a couple of times a day so if I leave and it happens, everything just stops.
I have looked in all the settings and can't seem to find anything that controls this so am hoping someone here has an answer as to where to look.

Any idea as to where to even find out how to create it?  There seem to be no options in any menu.

Don't know why this is in the VP Tools instead of WeatherLink.  I think this is more of a W/L problem than Startwatch, but it seems to be more prevalent when S/W is running.  When it happens all the W/L log files are gone and start over when I stop S/W.  Maybe I just need to finally make the jump from 5.8.0 to the latest version of W/L.  It seems to be some kind of conflict between the two.
