Database size
« on: March 30, 2016, 11:51:31 AM »
I have been running VWS for many years. I am now approaching 50,000 records in the database. Is there a published procedure for eliminating years old data from the database that I missed?

I'm running 15.00 p03 and it does it on it's own, so it may depend on which version that you are using.

I think that is what I am seeing as well. I would think that when it hits 50,000 it would just drop the oldest record. It will be interesting to see.

VWS will do the re-sizing when you shut it down and re-start it....I think that is the only way??

Mine resizes then upon a restart. Every once in a while, my VWS will shutdown and I noticed the database resizing then.
