What happens to the program after the trial period expires

Is the gauge layout retained?  Does the program not open?  When the program is finally purchased, will the personalized settings be retained?

Well, I found out.  The program shuts down and doesn't open until the license number is entered.

I still plan to buy the Basic program.  But last week my Amazon account was compromised and I closed the credit card account associated with it.  I'm waiting to get a new card in the mail so I can resume getting "points using that card.  Hey, every 50 points help!  It will be interesting if all my settings and customizations on my VWS remain intact.

Wow, that is too bad about the Amazon account, good luck with it.  Agree on the points, I get cash back and every little bit helps.  I never tried the trial version, purchased right off, so don't know what will happen to your settings.  I do hope they are preserved for you, good luck on that too.

I got my Basic license today.  After I entered the key, all settings resumed as they were when I set up the trial version.  All is well.

Thanks for the feedback, that is good to know.  Glad the settings returned.
