Aussies - Any one in the North Canberra area?
« on: January 07, 2019, 07:02:56 PM »
For the last 10 years or so, I used belconnenweather.com to keep an eye on the North Canberra area - Family in Melba.

It's now shuttered its doors and I'm looking for another PWS (non WeatherUnderground) I can use on a daily basis to check out how things are going.  Ideally, it'd be Belconnen's North suburbs, Spence, Melba, Charnwood etc, (Gungahlin is to far north), and Ideally again, they'd have their own web site.

So Aussies, wot's available in that area?

Thanks Matt - That's a good station.  It appears to be about 10miles (15km) from sisters place..  Interesting that he's in the NW side of a hill  - she's on the SE side of another.

I'll watch it for a few days - I like that Captains Flat Radar is available - it's one of my 'go-to's' each day.

Just make sure that it is outside the "Canberra Bubble" or all it will measure is the hot air from the Parliament
