WeatherSTAR 4000 Simulator

For those of us that grew up watching The Weather Channel back in the day when they used the WeatherSTAR 4000, you can now have your own. This is really cool!

I had fun with it a few years back. It was the inspiration for my "Current Conditions" wxgraphic banner.

Wow, I'd LOVE to have this with my weather station and computer, but I'm about as dumb as a broken hoe handle when it comes to this kind of thing!! I see Dr. Obbins has his set up EXACTLY the way I'd like to have mine. Anyone care to assist me, possibly via phone sometime? Thank you for your offer to assist in advance.

Don,
The script gets the data from Weather Display's clietraw.txt file. What software does your site use?

I had Weather Display at one time, actually had 2 licenses, but now I use WUHU.

It uses the wxgraphic script and I don't know that much about the programming to adapt it to WUHU.  :-(

Dr Obbins,

How do you configure it to read the clientraw.txt file? I would love for it to do that.

Thanks,

John

John,
The pic I posted is not the WeatherSTAR 4000. It is the exact PHP file that you used in the banner in your signature only different. It is just resized, different fonts and different condition pics. I will try to put together a zip file if I can remember how I did it.  #-o
