Streaming weather cam
« on: January 28, 2011, 03:20:43 PM »
Hi all,

Is it possible to stream a live feed using ImageSalsa?  The documentation seems to mention it but I couldn't find the place it said to look.

Thanks,
- Petaris

Yes.  In ImageSalsa under the Internet tab is the Web Server setup.  Enter the port number you want to use and make sure you enable it.

You also need to set up port forwarding in your router for the same port number.

I played with that on Friday but you have to refresh the page to see the latest image.  I am talking about an actual live stream so that you can actually watch the video as its being captured.

Is that possible?

Yes.  There are a few ways of doing it, but this is how I do it:
