Yesterday, I noticed that an icon that I was using from http://www.lightningmaps.org/Images/ (specifically blitzortung_icon_128.png) was missing from my website.
I got a 404 error and the entire /Images directory is missing from lightningmaps.org.
I replaced it with one of Cutty's icons, but I was wondering if this is permanent or it will be coming back (or relocated somewhere).
I suppose that I should not have these kind of dependencies, and just download the icon but I neglected to do this originally.

They have appended the time (https://images.lightningmaps.org/blitzortung/america/index.php?map=usa_mini&t=5007371) to the image displayed in the left-hand column here (https://www.lightningmaps.org/#y=40.1192;x=-100.2807;z=5;t=3;m=sat;r=0;s=0;o=0;b=40.58;n=0;d=2;dl=9;dc=0;ra=1;). I'm fairly certain that this was done to prevent browsers from displaying stale images.
I discovered the static image problem a couple of weeks ago and I now display the animated gif (https://images.lightningmaps.org/blitzortung/america/index.php?animation=usa_mini) in my dashboard. The latest image can be displayed using https://images.lightningmaps.org/blitzortung/america/index.php?map=usa_mini without problems.

Apparently other images, such as the "gear" icon that controls the maps are still there. It must just be this lightning bolt one.
The gear exists under this directory: https://www.lightningmaps.org/Images/gear.png (https://www.lightningmaps.org/Images/gear.png)
and it shows under https://images.lightningmaps.org/Images/gear.png (https://images.lightningmaps.org/Images/gear.png)
But alas, blitzortung_icon_128.png is missing. (the directory view must be disallowed)
Thanks for the tip on the mini map, sometimes it took a long time to load.

Hi All,
New to Blitzortung, and interested in how to find out what images are available for use on my site.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can have a browse of what's available.
Phil.
