VWS Pulling In Wrong Weather Warnings From WU
« on: January 05, 2017, 09:21:12 AM »
I noticed a few days ago that weather warnings from a different area started to get pulled into my VWS updates.  I checked my zip code in the weather warnings settings, everything is as it should be.  So I tried different zip codes in the 16xxx area and it keeps pulling in weather warnings from outside the area from Cleveland which appear to be for offshore Lake Erie.  I am located over a hundred miles from Cleveland.  I'm assuming it is a WU glitch related to all the other issues they are having.  Anyone else having this issue?

Weather Warnings are lagging as well as the current conditions and 5-day forecast on my end (Irvine, CA).  I've submitted a help ticket.  The Weather Warnings are probably the most important at this time as we are in a stormy weather event in Southern California.  I'll report back the reply.

I have a warning from last Thursday and can't get rid of it...  And the 5 day forecast starts last Thursday as well....  Just a hunch, but I'll bet last Thursday was a bad day at Wunderground....

Update....  The obsolete warnings have now disappeared....  The 5 day is still way off....

As reported in the other thread, my forecast and meso has not updated since the 19th.  I don't like the sound of things with regards to VWS either.  I guess this is the end for VWS for me.  I'll give it a week to see if any happens then begin looking for another alternative.
