WeatherLink V2 IOS app not showing station
« on: June 14, 2018, 02:55:09 AM »
Hi,

My weather station shows up in weatherlink.com V2 and is correctly sending data both there and WeatherUnderground. But I cannot see it in my Davis Weatherlink Mobile V2 IOS app? When I check Settings, the station is listed there, but no data is showing on the Home screen

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Graham

Finding stations in the 2.0 app can occasionally be temperamental.

Is the station _definitely_ set to public?

Is the lat/long, station name and other metadata all correctly entered?

Ah, I did not realise it needed to be Public. All good now thank you.

Actually, I believe that the only requirement is for the station to be set to Public for it to be findable by the app. Once the app has acquired your station then AIUI it should be possible to revert to private, should you wish to do so, and the app should continue to receive that station's data. (Though I'm never quite sure what the benefit is from any weather data being provate.)
