Summer starts 'officially' in a couple of days, but many have already hit the magic numbers above.  Say Aye if ye have too.

Poll is set for 5 days due to the Summer start date

I don't expect to even hit 90.  Love summer in the Rockies.

I hope we wont get above 100 this yr, last yr we did for about 8 days in a row, it was a nightmare, especially since here in Czech hardly anyone has air conditioning at home, including me and I dont have one even in my office...

111F yesterday, 112F expected today.  But hey, at least it's dry heat!  Ha!  Once it gets that hot, you better just stay inside, humidity or no...

And, indeed, 111F broke the Riverside, CA record of 107 set back in 1922. Ouch.

Have only hit 100F a few times in history here in SWFL even though we are the 5th warmest place (year round) in the US.

I'm sure there are areas without AC but not many in California with exception of higher mountain areas. In Arizona you can get by with evaporative cooling below 55 DP.

I remember last August, during the sever 2-week heat wave we had here, since I live in a flat just below the roof, with no A/C, the indoor temperature did not drop below 32°C 2 weeks straight... including night... and in my office it was the same thing, around 30 C the whole day - I thought it is the end of me :D

I don't usually get to 100 degrees, but we did 4 days straight without electricity in 2012 when a big storm decimated the area.

Only gotten to 94 on my station so far this year, but dew points in the lower 70s have made that feel uncomfortable. I am one of the few people around here that like winter best. I enjoy the cold weather more.

I'm not sure how, but some how, I've managed to get through this year so far without AC.  Several days in the upper 90s with nights in the 70s, and yet, fans have made it tolerable enough to sleep.  I open the windows at night to let the cooler air in and close them during the day to keep the warmer air out.

Worst part is the mugginess.  I imagine the AC will go on this week more to deal with that than the heat.

Cold coffee and tea has helped a bit too I guess.

Exactly :D

My favorite conditions:
- cold
- rain/snow
- dark (which is why I love working at night and go to bed at sun rise :D)
Only thing I dont like much is wind, I like that when Im at home, watching how high the number will rise on my PWS LOL

Have already exceeded 100 °F on 14 days so far this year and 110 °F 4 times yesterday was the hottest so far. It actually Establish a New All-time High for my station 117 °F (47.2 °C) in northern Phoenix.

What was unusual is I was only 1 °F cooler than the official High at Sky Harbor which was 118 °F or (47.7 °C) that reading is tied for 5 All-time hottest, normally I average 3 to 4°F cooler than the airport for high temperatures. Officially the hottest at Sky Harbor still stands at 122 °F (50.0 °C) on June 26th, 1990 I remember that date well but that occurred before my current station was established my current records date back to 1997!!

Details of my all-time extremes are located here:http://pepperridgenorthvalley.com/alltime.php

I would like to congratulate you but it may not be appropriate

Yes anyone familiar with the Valley knows Sky Harbor one of our long range climate indicators is artificially hot especially at night with  tarmac, concrete and steel. They have relocated the sensors but just can do so much with the location surrounded by city.

Yes I am very familiar with the HEAT ISLAND effect in the valley. Perfect example is this morning Sky Harbor fell only to 90°F while here it drop to 83.3°F while is pretty normal for the summertime difference less concrete and asphalt here in the North Valley and not only does it effect the overnight lows but the average mean temp hence more chances for records  to fall. Also the heat island now prevents Sky Harbor from rarely falling below freezing in the winter but the outline areas still do freeze in the winter....

I remember driving into FL from GA and noticing how white, really white the roads were in some areas.  So white that in places they had to use a black paint stripe under the white paint stripe so it could be seen.  Apparently at the time a lot of them contained sand that had a lot of shell content ... sea shells.

Airport runways in concrete do the same thing.

So far I've had 25 days of 100+ temps: 1 in April, 8 in May and 16 so far in June; of those in June 7 have been above 110.  I was surprised that I went up to the 3rd week of April with hardly any AC usage - most of March I didn't even have the system turned on.

Now for the long, long wait until October...

The hottest it's been here was 99 on June 17.  If it's a regular summer, it waits until July to get to 100 or better.
