Storm Panorama Time Lapse
« on: October 15, 2016, 11:55:30 AM »
We are in the midst of 2.. well..3 big storms rolling through.  Today could be the biggest we have had in several years.  I put together a 72 second panorama time lapse of yesterday.  This is a real challenge to sequentially align these images when the clouds are moving so fast....  I had to boot one of the computers in the middle and you can see it kind of stick on one image for a bit....  It was an interesting day and today could be even more so....

Greetings Greg,

Thank you for sharing and bring back memories of the Pacific Northwet!
That's what video/photography is all about memories...

So a question how many degrees does your three camera system provide (90°, 120°, 180°) got me curious.
My memories of Oregon include 360° of rain, 24 hours a day, 31 days a month (including February :-) ) forever :-) .

Thank you again for sharing your excellent work.

Randall

Hi Randall,
Yes this has been an interesting stretch of storms....  Today's could be the biggest wind storm we have had in over 25 years...

My three cams combined cover 148 degrees...  I got curious one day and measured it with my transit...   :-)

I'm jealous.
Our rainy season is over.  :-(

Awesome video...  Thanks Jachym...  I am humbled and suddenly feel inadequate... :)  And at the same time inspired....  The quality of the images and the incredible editing inspire me....  I "got work to do".... :)

Thanks for sharing,
