Acurite Station With Davis Tripod

Is the davis tripod compatible with the acurite 5 in 1?

I don't know if you saw this in the other thread or not, if you do decide on a tripod. I have this and it's easily sturdy enough for me to stand (and I do) on it. Lots cheaper than Davis' too. http://www.ambientweather.com/amwetrandmaa.html#caption

I don't know if you saw this in the other thread or not, if you do decide on a tripod. I have this and it's easily sturdy enough for me to stand (and I do) on it. Lots cheaper than Davis' too. http://www.ambientweather.com/amwetrandmaa.html#caption
Problem with this is it doesn't ship to Canada and apparently doesn't work with Acurite. Of course unless you have an acurite and it works for you :P

Why they dont ship to Canada is beyond me. They would get more buisness. Now I'm stuck trying to find alternatives :(

Don't know up there, but down here, Home Depot, Lowes, for instance. I've bought 10' and 6' sections from them. Tons of choices. Just make sure it's galvanized, which most are.
