Hi Dalecoy,
As I suspected I had #4 dip switch turned on, so now have turned it off. Then when I went inside again the message was still there. So I put the console into setup mode and while
going through the various things to set up in the Receiving From it had 3 and 8 that it was receiving from, so I checked on each channel which was on and off and channel 8 was the
only the only one that was turned on.

Since going outside and turning the #4 dip switch off and coming back in and re-setting the console that message has not come on again yet.
But in the past it has gone away then to re-emerge again after re-setting the console but after turning the test switch off might just do the trick says me with fingers crossed?.

I have also turned off the re-transmit as per your advice this should save the transmitter battery a bit.

Thanks very much for your help really appreciated.

Sometimes, it's helpful to think about the "simple" things, before diving into the complex ones.

Glad I could help.

Consider another new battery.
